May 24th: Rules for birthdays
May 23, 2009
Who knew all these (in)famous people were born on May 24. Anyway…on with teh rules.
Smoke ‘em if you got ‘em (Tommy Chong):
Even if you don’t smoke you can still smoke (Patti LaBelle):
And don’t forget…Other people born on this day have survived some serious shit so a birthday isn’t that bad.
Happy birthday to all the famous and infamous people born today!

The clap

I love songs that feature hand claps. They are so user friendly. We all have a musical instruments right in front of us! Weeee!
Do you have any other worthy suggestions?

I recently went to a birthday party of a coworker of my friend D. Love D. She’s new at her work so her coworkers only know part of her story. The story is that she is getting a divorce from her husband after 25 years of marriage… and they don’t know her husband. Anyway, I was her “date” for the party. She introduced me to her drunken coworkers as “my friend” John. We laughed and danced our asses off. We had a great time. The next business day (according to D.), more than one person asked her why she was getting a divorce. “You and your husband have so much fun together”.
Sad that she is getting a divorce but I was totally flattered . And I loved the dancing. Dance more. It makes everything better.
UPDATE :
Thanks for the ass shakin’, Eartha
December 27, 2008
The couple of tributes I’ve read regarding the passing of Eartha Kitt sucked. All black and white shit. Yes, she did have a great career as a young woman but I wasn’t there. I’m (relatively) young so I only remember Eartha as the one who made me dance my ass off (I’m too young for the Batman tv series, too).
This is the Eartha I remember:
I can’t tell you how much joy and how much fun I’ve had dancing to these songs. Thanks so much, Eartha. You made my life better.

Times are tough; look for bargains (and whore out your elderly mother… take her to Kohl’s on Wednesday; the bitch saves you 15%)
Times are tough but that shouldn’t stop you from throwing a party(especially for charity):
