You can’t please everyone

March 6, 2008

What a glorious day in the neighborhood. I got to shop at the new Wal-Mart in town (it’s so much nicer than the old one). I absolutely love Wal-Mart. Where else can you find such low, low prices and leave the store feeling better about yourself?

Not everyone is as happy about it as I am. Here are some random comments on the news(subtitles mine):

Those darn Chinese:

Do you suppose when the Chinese finally conquer America they’ll go to our homes and see how much Walmart stuff we’ve bought and use that to determine what sort of concentration camp they’ll send us to?

Bright lights; big city:

And so it begins. The day we have all been dreading. Those of you who approve of it should come and spend the night in my backyard. Lights on 24/7 and once the traffic starts, the noise we be unbearable too. Oh yeah, I almost forgot. We live in low-income housing. Our opinions don’t count or matter.

Won’t someone please think of the prairie dogs?:

I remember one Wall Mart who opened I believe in CO. There was a colony of prarie dogs and someone wanted to move them before they built their new Wall Mart. But instead Wall Mart gased the cute prarie dog colony. Wall Mart has no concern for the environment nor the wildlife. If you shop Wall Mart neither do you and you are just as quility as them.

Quility as charged.

Love the sign! Can’t tell if the Wal-Mart employees can’t sipher, or just figure their customers can’t.
