Manbags, shrinkage and the weather

June 15, 2008

My unreliable friend never showed up with his air compressor so I broke down and bought one at Home Depot. Great deal. I went in asking for something to blow up a pool/floaties and I ended up with a kick ass air compresser and two nail guns (with nails!). It even came with a Porter Cable manbag to carry them in(with a little side compartment for my ciggies). How butch is that? So now the ring pool is inflated and filled with water. Really cold water. And sitting by the pool is nice. Now if it would only quit raining.

    Pool’s’re cool (and whose Mustang?).

That’s Mother‘s. And the pool was tolerable today.

  3. So she drives a Mustang convertible and you drive…um, either the pickup behind or what looks like a Honda in front.

The lovely Dodge Dakota is mine. (and you’re right, the other car is a Honda. Nice car eye.)

  5. As my partner said this morning, “How is it that you can’t find an item on a shelf when you’re staring right at it, but can spot ‘the new Nissan I’ve been reading about’ when you’re a mile uphill from it?”

And a Dakota…hmmm. I almost ended up with one of those (in scarlet, natch), but got an F-350 dually diesel crewcab instead. What can I say? It was 1999, and we all were going to die in the Y2K crash anyway. 🙂

    Now an F-350 is butch.
